Since 1991

Filco was founded in 1991 as a family-owned company with a core business in the fruit and vegetable sector. In 1996, with the expansion of its product portfolio, Filco took a step forward by becoming a distributor of citrus derivatives on behalf of some Sicilian producers.

From its beginning to the present day, the company has improved its knowledge and experience, involving itself also in the production of tailor made essential oils, juices, citrus peels and pulp cells.

The organization’s main objective is to raise global awareness of the uniqueness of the Italian territory, particularly the South. Filco offers its customers a wide range of products packed in different size.

Filco’s policy is dedicated entirely to maximizing customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the range of qualities and certifications. Following this approach, Filco has obtained organic certification from Ecogruppo Italia.

Building on a growing network of contacts and global sourcing, Filco developed a trading service for ingredients, packaging, and similar items related to the food industry, in addition to its main activities. 

Filco’s products are found in various sectors such as Perfumery, Beverages, Flavors, Ice Cream, Pastry, and the Food Industry in general. Filco’s products are derived from citrus fruits and flowers (lemons, oranges, tangerines, bergamots, grapefruits, limes, citrons, clementines, bitter oranges), red fruits, mushrooms, and various types of fruits and vegetables.
